I swear, they are just trying to scam our ***. One day, I was playing a good game of ARMA 3.

then it froze, Okay... So I went to Starbucks & grabbed a nice Java Chip. When I went back, my computer had a problem. I was ready to punch *** in the wall, I've never been this pissed off in my life.

I got scammed 800 dollars, I had to call HP to get this fixed which means I have to delete all my files. Great, I had alot of my work stuff on my computer. Gee, my boss will be so pleased when he sees this. This might of cost me my job.

Thank you so freaking much QVC.

You're the best. *the sarcasm is strong*

Monetary Loss: $812.

I don't see how you are out any money if HP fixed it. You did say that.

Both of my HP laptops came from QVC. When I started up the new one, because (I suppose) of my WiFi, everything on the first computer transferred to the new one.

So, I don't see how you lost everything. Also, if your computer is so important to your job, maybe gaming on it isn't a prudent idea. You need two, and if you are going to spend $800 and use it for your job, don't you think your company should have paid for it? I don't think you should call this a scam.

So, you got a lemon. Stuff can happen with any product, any brand. HP has a one year warranty. I guess you didn't check their website and talk to them.

I just don't understand why people get so upset with the place they buy an item online if the manufacturer has a warranty. Even if you didn't register it, they should have had the information if you have the serial number.

But, sadly for you, that was in 2013, and you probably actually got it worked out. You aren't too smart if you just gave up and lost $812 without a "fight" or simply contacting HP>

I am QVC employee and i believe you.I bought a computer recently and had to return it.A co-worker friend of mine told me he stop buying from QVC after getting a defective camera.

Computers frequently encounter problems this is why you back up your files. If you bought a computer from Best But and it had a problem would you blame Best Buy?

Also, why do consumers need to know about your Starbucks purchase when looking for QVC reviews? :roll

Really, can you be so ***? All one would have to do is backup their computer.
