I ordered a dell laptop in July. When I received it the screen kept going blank &I had a very difficult time trying to retrieve it.

I called QVC & CSR gave a phone number to call. I tried the number several times at different times on different days. I finally called dell directly. After 1 1/2 hours on phone technician was unable to find problem. I had to return laptop to depot in Texas.

When it was returned problem was not resolved. Now after spending over an hour on phone I again have to return laptop to depot office in Texas. It was difficult understanding the CSR's. When I asked where they are located I found out they are in Manilla, not the US.

I have asked for a new laptop whch they refuse. I will NEVER again purchase a dell I'm returning to my trusty HP's .

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $700.

Preferred solution: new laptop.

QVC Cons: Phone number they gave me for warranty, Noanswer at phone number given to me for warrenty.

Location: 1365 Enterprise Dr, West Chester, PA 19380, USA

I had the same problem. I now own a $699 worthless, Dell computer I bought at QVC on April 16th, 2016. Same problem, Dell support in Manila.

I bought a Dell Laptop on April 16th, 2016. It never ran "lightening fast" as the show host claimed.

Finally it went out. I phone Dell Tech Support and got a technician from Manila. After quite awhile with technician remotely trying to fix my computer he had me take it to FedEx to return it. He set me up with a return shipping label but refused to supply a return box for my laptop.

It cost me around $25 dollars to ship it. I did take it to the Geek Squad and they returned the computer for me to the factory in Texas. Dell refused to let the Geek Squad take care of the problem. After then going to FedEx and returning my laptop I got it back from the factory.

Then the keyboard went out. The technician from Manila took remote of my laptop again and ascertained the keyboard indeed had malfunctioned. I asked for a new replacement laptop. He refused.

He sent a replacement keyboard. I put it on my laptop. Then the whole laptop went black. I took it into the Geek Squad and they ascertained that the computer was "dead".

I called Dell Tech Support again, requesting a replacement computer. They again refused. This time they sent a shipping label and return box (which I didn't need this time). Back to the factory in Texas, then toward the end of December I received by laptop back.

By this time I had stopped using this computer as I had lost legal papers and many pictures, from my computer being totally wiped clean or parts replaced at the factory. About 2 weeks after receiving my laptop back (January) I started using it again. The keyboard went out again. I was totally disgusted and pissed off by now.

The tech referred me to "corporate" Corporate refused again to replace this laptop telling me "it don't work that way" They sent another keyboard. I was told it would be here on the next Monday. It didn't arrive until Wednesday. I received a phone call from "Corporate" on Tuesday, asking if I had received the keyboard.

I was totally irate my now with this whole ordeal. I told him I had not and that I felt the only equitable resolution to this fiasco was to replace this laptop as it was obviously a "lemon" After being told it doesn't work that way, " I told Mr Corporate to take this computer and shove it up his ***", He became irate and told me he was shutting down my service request. I told him to do what he had to do. I have not used my computer since.

I am chalking this up to a $699 loss. I called QVC Customer Service multiple times. The last lady I spoke with said she was typing a letter with my complaints to QVC corporate office. This has been well over a week and I have not heard back.

I did tell her to charge my credit card with what ever easy pay payments I owed and I was not buying another thing from QVC as I felt they should have someone in customer service advocating for customers with problems like mine. My Dell Laptop quit on me before I had made my last payment. I have never had a computer go out on me before.

I am not rich so this was a fairly large out of pocket loss for me, and not getting any help from QVC has totally flabbergasted me. I have bought hundreds of dollars from QVC over the years but guess I am doing myself a favor now by keeping my money in my purse.
